The Corduroy Cowboy
About the Project
Corduroy is my favorite fabric, but very specifically corduroy with thick wales. If it’s thin, I walk!
One year during GBMC’s bi-annual Nearly New sale, I found a ziplock bag bursting with different colored swatches of corduroy. It would have been a shame to let that go to waste so ideas started churning about how I could use these fun bits of fabric.
Using other pieces of clothing as the basis, I created the persona of The Corduroy Cowboy. From head to toe, I would be covered in nothing but corduroy.
