About the Project
The exhibition so nice I had it twice!
This year’s exhibition served as the release party for The Ballad of the Dollar Bill Bar Bandit and the Yearbook as well as the opening of new works including paintings, textile pieces, and photography. Guests were also invited to sing happy birthday to my Grandma who turned 91 on July 14th!
Like last year’s exhibition, the Goobsmobile was open for viewing for all exhibition attendees. This year however, my newly renovated basement-studio was also open for tours. I spent all of January 2026 cleaning out my Grandma’s basement, which for all of my life has only existed as pure storage. It was where old notebooks and sweaters went to die.
That is no longer the case! Grandma’s basement now serves as my home studio where I can paint, draw, sew, and create to my heart’s content.
